What is Tastebudz?

Tastebudz gives you cash back on dining, with partnered restaurants. Take a photo of your dining receipt to get cash in your account. Once you earn 200 rupees in cash back, you can redeem in form of cash transferred to your bank account.

How to avail cash back from Tastebudz?

You can get cash back in restaurants tied up with Tastebudz which are listed in the Tastebudz app. To get your cash back, simply take a photo of the bill and upload your bill.

Can I redeem a receipt / bill more than once?

No, cash back on a receipt / bill can be claimed only once. If tried, multiple times the bill will be rejected.

How long does it take for my receipt to be approved?

We strive to approve all receipts within 72 hours. However, if your receipts are not approved within 72 hours. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to contact us.

How do I get paid?

When you have earned 200 rupees or more in cash back account, you can request a payment. Go to 'Profile' -> 'My Cashback' -> 'Redeem Cashback'.

What devices can I use Tastebudz on?

Tastebudz can be used on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer – just download our app for Android, or visit us online at tastebudz.co.in.

iOS app will be launched soon at Apple store.

How do I upload a long receipt?

When uploading long receipts, take multiple photos of your receipt to ensure that you have captured all the data from top to bottom of your bill. Please make sure to upload all chunks of the receipt.

What do I do if the receipt photo is blurry?

If the photo is not clear, remove the blurry image and upload the clear receipt again, and then submit your cash back request.

Are there any fees for using Tastebudz?

Tastebudz is absolutely free to use.

When do the cash back offers expire?

Offers are active until the restaurants are ready to give you cash back and expire when the restaurants want to end. Expired offers will either be hidden or clearly marked as unavailable.

When will my payment arrive?

Typically, payments are distributed within two (2) weeks of request but may take up to 45 days.

How do I reset my password?

If you know your current password, you can change it on Edit Profile -> Change password. If you’ve forgotten your password, look for the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page.

Where is Tastebudz available?

Currently, Tastebudz is available in Chennai, India.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No, each person can have only one account which is linked to their mobile number.

Does a receipt have an expiry?

Yes, receipt should be uploaded within 3 days from the billing date otherwise the bill will be rejected. Only one receipt can be uploaded in a day.
